Nerdanel

I felt like drawing with charcoal today, so I started leafing through a pile of paper looking for an new sheet. Instead I found an old work.

The work feature Nerdanel, looking ove rher shoulder is sadness whil Fëanor stood in front of her. Did I mention it was a very old work. I remember though I had always known that the drawing was horrible (I actually wrote it in a corner of the sheet with a list of why it was horrible) I never threw it away because I had already coloured Nerdanel's hair and hasd loved it.

Now I had this unexplainable urge to use charcoal to correct all the mistakes in her face. It's not perfect, but it's nothing short of a miracle knowing what it looked like before. I should have taken of 'before' as well. Anyway, I see I should probably colour the part of her neck between the hair black too and her mouth still needs a bit of work and the line under her nose needs softening, but still, a miracle
